Sara Zellner is a seasoned environmental, social, and governance (ESG) and corporate responsibility professional with a proven track record of developing and leading impact-driven programs for global Fortune 1000 companies, nonprofit organizations, and public-sector entities. As the CEO & Principal of Lynz Consulting LLC, she advises clients on ESG business strategy, helping them align their operational goals with measurable social outcomes.

Sara’s approach combines deep business acumen with strategic communications and rigorous metrics expertise. Her experience spans the private, nonprofit, and public sectors, allowing her to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes and deliver tangible ROI. She has successfully managed large-scale budgets, coordinated cross-functional teams, and shepherded major initiatives from concept to execution.

Her portfolio includes advising on economic empowerment and disaster resilience programs as well as managing multi-million dollar grant-making transitions. She has also driven thought leadership through reports on the private sector contributions to community well-being; workplace mental and financial health; and diversity, among other topics.

Sara holds a PhD in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin and a BA from The University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is certified in ESG performance, CSRD & ESRS standards, and SASB & TCFD reporting; holds Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) certification; and has completed specialized training in Sustainable Management at Duke University and Business Foundations at The Wharton School. ​​​
